Pakistan’s top wearable tech brand. I own the entire Shopify storefront, driving theme architecture, custom automation, and performance for a base of 2M+ users.
Problem
A fast-scaling wearable-tech brand on Shopify with slow product pages (GTmetrix grade D, 3.1s LCP, 973ms total blocking time), manual operational workflows, and no single owner of the storefront as traffic grew past 2M users.
Solution
I took full ownership of the Shopify storefront: rebuilt the theme architecture, deferred and trimmed render-blocking scripts, optimised images and critical CSS, tuned Liquid for fewer requests, and replaced manual back-office tasks with custom automation.
Results
The opal-earbuds product page went from GTmetrix grade D to A, performance score 53→95, LCP 3.1s→1.4s, TBT 973ms→44ms. The homepage now scores grade A (100% performance, 582ms LCP) while serving 2M+ users.
