The brief & problem
Traditional bookstore templates display books as isolated standalone titles, making it difficult for readers to discover chronological reading orders and multi-book fantasy/educational series.
What I built
Designed a series-first taxonomy featuring visual chronological book badges and reading order guides.
Engineered multi-format product selectors on PDPs (Hardcover, Paperback, Kindle EPUB, and Audiobook).
Built sample chapter read-inline slideouts so readers can sample the opening pages before purchasing.
Created automatic 'Complete the Series' bundle discount rules.
Outcomes & Results
Backlist series sales increased by 45% as readers continued seamlessly from Book 1 through Book 5.

Client Feedback
“Organizing our catalogue by book series transformed reader engagement. Readers now easily purchase entire book trilogies in one order.”

Worth knowing
Reader journeys are sequential. Guiding the customer through a chronological series reading order drives natural multi-book basket building.
